Summary Plan Descriptions

The Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) has developed guidelines that make it mandatory for all businesses with two or more employees to provide their employees with a Summary Plan Description (SPD). We took a lead role in informing and helping our members meet their obligations under ERISA. We offer SPDs at no charge to our members. Types of Summary Plan Descriptions available include: medical, long-term disability, short-term disability, life and AD&D, and freestanding dental/vision.

HIPAA Compliance Kit

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) deals with the portability and privacy of your healthcare. This privacy rule sets boundaries on how personal information and general patient information can be released and used. It also imposes stiff penalties for release of this information to an unauthorized person. Members can contact the Association with their questions on who needs to be compliant and find out how to become compliant.

The Association offers members the best prices and most up-to-date equipment in merchant-processing sales. Products and services include credit card processing, debit cards, electronic gift certificates, electronic check conversion, pre-paid cellular and phone cards, Internet solutions and more.

Who doesn't have problems collecting on past-due invoices? Members of the Association can collect on delinquent accounts and returned checks when a past-due invoice or bill becomes an issue. By leveraging the size of our membership, Association members are able to recover profit from slow-paying accounts and returned checks at a significant discount savings.
