Sandy Harvey is a sought-out speaker, distinguished inclusion strategist, and dynamic leader with a quarter-century worth of experience executing human resources, organizational development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion solutions. In 2017, Sandy founded and currently leads Exodus Consulting Group, a forward-thinking firm dedicated to crafting transformational culture strategies. Exodus excels in developing culturally centered diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategic solutions, offering a suite of leadership consulting, coaching, and advisory services to clients.
Sandy’s over 25 years of organizational development experience specializing in designing and delivering leadership training, implementing talent development and management strategies extends to for-profit and non-profit organizations.
A celebrated Certified Diversity Professional, Sandy’s expertise extends across the realms of DEI strategy formulation, storytelling, and workshop facilitation. Holding a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA in Organizational Management from Texas Wesleyan University, she further complements her professional competence with a Master of Arts in Evangelism & Church Planting. Sandy was a diversity training consultant for Coca-Cola providing training for employees in Michigan and northern Ohio and was formerly a Senior Consultant and Faculty member for the National Diversity Council.
Certified to lead prominent diversity, leadership, and professional development programs, Sandy’s passion for fostering positive change resonates through every facet of her work. As a skilled facilitator certified by Myers & Briggs, American Management Association (AMA) in Situational Leadership, AchieveGlobal, Franklin Covey, Development Dimensions, Intl., and J. Howard & Associates, Sandy loves sharing insights and knowledge for the growth and development of others. As a pastoral and executive coach, she has led pivotal leadership and DEI strategic initiatives for multinational corporations and provides coaching to pastors and churches nationwide.
In May 2016, Sandy was recognized by Corp! Magazine as a Most Valuable Professional, as a Most Valuable Entrepreneur in 2018, and a Diversity Business Leader in 2019. In 2020, she received the HRUnite! Inspire Award. She was celebrated in May 2022 by Inforum Michigan as one of the region’s most accomplished and admired women and celebrated as a 2023 Women We Admire in Michigan awardee.
Sandy’s commitment to community service is evident in her active roles as a board member for Gleaners Community Food Bank, Inforum, Leadership Oakland, as well as chairing Inforum’s Southeast Michigan Regional Council. Her dedication also extends to her work with the HAVEN of Oakland County’s HR Committee, where she volunteers her expertise to further their mission. Sandy Harvey not only leads with strategic insight but also with a heartfelt dedication to social betterment and empowerment.
As an ordained minister, Sandy serves as co-pastor at Serenity Christian Church in Hazel Park, Michigan, alongside her husband John where her spiritual and professional insights converge to inspire the community and congregation alike.
