Speaker: David Dubin, PhD
David Dubin received his Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston and his B.A. in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
David is the founder and principal consultant of People Strategies, a leadership and pre-hire assessment consulting firm. He has experience consulting with various businesses, from startups to Fortune 100 companies, across multiple business sectors, including private equity, automotive, technology, oil and gas, consumer goods, financial services, healthcare, railroads, and construction.
His consulting expertise includes Leadership Assessment and Coaching, 360 Surveys, Test Development, Structured Interview Development, Job Analysis, Survey Design, and Strategic HR Management. Assessments created by David have been used by organizations such as Aon and Indeed and have been taken by millions of candidates. In addition, he has provided leadership assessment and coaching across over 30 countries for some of the most recognizable brands.
David is an active member in the field of HR and Industrial-Organizational Psychology. He is a previous faculty member of the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. He is the co-founder of the Austin Association for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, now part of ATX PX (People Experience). He is a credentialed SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Recertification Provider, has presented at universities, conferences, and organizations across the United States and Europe, and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
